SPORTS is a social club for retired public safety personnel in the
Sandpoint area. They meet at 11:30 am on the first Tuesday of the month at Slates Restaurant. Spouses are welcome to attend these meetings.

The atmosphere is an informal one, with committees for various
activities including, hiking, motorcycling, bowling, shooting, boating
and golf. The group is also involved in community activities, such as
Slamfest, and the Special Olympics held at Schweitzer Mountain. 80% of the Scottish Pipe Band is composed of SPORTS members. The group has Bar B Ques during the year as well.
